There's no nice way to say this
So instead I'll write a song
About what it feels like to be completely invisible while standing on your own
And feeling something that's hard to explain
Like a fragrance that is deprived a name
You hold it so close until it's plain
And then it's fucking gone again
But I felt it again just now, writing a response to question how?
Could someone speak for God and distort his word?
Say he wants them to have many wives to populate worlds?
My question is how can you question just this?
When i'ves a question bout the Word on this.
The book starts with a book with a chapter 7, verse 4.
Now this book says things do not change
These words will stand and remain the same
Gospels from angels cannot bring it disdain
And even fools that add will be torn in the end
Now here's my problem, my question, my banter
This verse says the boss went game over
Full blown genocide of all living substances
(Minus a boat for the stories purposes)
And somehow that gives the rainbow it's shine
When we say that this God is better than time
Here's the thing. Why?
Unchanging God?
Full blown genocide?
Like...nuclear war level shit.
......
But put that aside, this conversation went dry
Because my question doesn't matter if my view is wrong
And that fucked me up for a minute
Because I recently had a very similar conversation about different gender types with those of different genders and my Mormon family. And with the pride festival and the rainbow....its gotten me thinking
When the wind blows on you, when fire touches your hand, it's real. It's something you inescapably have to expose yourself to at time, learn from and recognize its reality in your life. A concept I learned from Tom Browns wilderness books, which he learned from a Native American Elder.
Now here's the thing that I notice in a verbally social world, we believe that if we don't agree with something we can deny it's existence. Ive seen, experienced and have seen others experience it my whole life. Perfect examples would be every discrimination throughout history. It seems we go through fads of that too.
And here's what I also hear consistently. Those being pushed down pushing back up to receive the same respect as the natural reality. Exposure, influence, recognition. Easier to do to a person than a hurricane, but both deserve the same respect and appropriate response, neither of which is full disregard.
So to anyone who has ever been told that their truth or their questions warranted no notice because of their inherent fallacies and choose to stand regardless, thank you. Ain't saying you're right, but all of reality deserves recognition.
Anywho, there are my wanderings for the day. Carry on.
